This year the students of Echo Base 307 decided to build their own "Haunted House" for Moffitt's annual Harvest Fest. The children worked tirelessly to create this spooky environment which was enjoyed by many. Several of the students also volunteered for "Ghoul Duty" that subjected them to uncomfortable make-up, and tested their ability to scare the daylights out of their guests. They all passed with flying colors. I couldn't be more proud of the effort these kids put in. Prior to taking on this task the students were given a lesson on make-up. They learned how to use derma wax, what spirit gum is, the use of liquid latex, and how to apply color to achieve that "lived in" look. Remember, this was all in fun, it's just that we're good at it! Take a peek at of some of our scary citizens!
